Hidden under the pillars in the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat, located in the city center, Restaurant Spelt is part of the art district in Amsterdam, close to the '9 streets' and the Rijksmuseum.
Restaurant Spelt opened in September 2008 and is located in the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat in Amsterdam.
Since then, chef Thomas Geraedts and his team have been serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new ventures into the uncharted territories of food.
Spelt refers to the ancient wheat, which stands for quality and authenticity.
Restaurant Spelt counts 24 seats inside and a nice terrace of 19 seats outside. When sitting inside you can observe the big beautiful garden, or watch the art of cooking as it occurs in the open kitchen.
