Hidden under the pillars in the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat, located in the city center, Restaurant Spelt is part of the art district in Amsterdam, close to the '9 streets' and the Rijksmuseum.
Restaurant Spelt opened in September 2008 and is located in the Nieuwe Spiegelstraat in Amsterdam, situated among all the fantastic musea and theaters Amsterdam has to offer!
Since then, chef Thomas Geraedts and his team have been serving a variety of tasty appetizers, mains and desserts throughout the whole day. For brunch and lunch the restaurant also serves delicious sandwiches of 100% Spelt grain.
Spelt refers to the ancient wheat, which stands for quality and authenticity.
Restaurant Spelt counts 28 seats inside and a nice terrace of 19 seats outside. When sitting inside you can observe the big beautiful garden, or watch the art of cooking as it occurs in the open kitchen.
